Virginia Madueño is the President of IMAGEN,LLC a public relations and marketing firm. She is also the Mayor for the City of Riverbank California. She has over 20 years of public relations, advertising, and marketing experience.
Virginia has worked as a community organizer and advocate on a variety of social issues including higher education, childhood diabetes and obesity, gangs, youth violence, clean water and methamphetamine prevention. Virginia was recognized as the 2008 National Trailblazer Business of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners and Wells Fargo, she was also awarded the 2008 Anna Maria Arias Memorial Business Award by Latina Style Magazine and 2008 Women of Distinction by Soroptimist International. She is a graduate of California State University Stanislaus. She is also a graduate of the National Hispana Executive Leadership Program at the JFK School of Government at Harvard and the Minority Business Enterprise program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Virginia serves on various boards and commissions such as the Vice President for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of California, Board member to the Family Justice Center, Board member to El Concilio, just to name a few. In May of 2010, Virginia graduated from the Great Valley Chapter of the American Leadership Fellows Program.
